🔐 Trust Levels at a Glance

🚪 AccessTrust

Interact with non-inventory objects: doors, buttons, levers, beds.

📦 ContainerTrust

Everything in AccessTrust plus chests, furnaces, hoppers, animals (mount, breed, shear).

⚒️ Trust

Full build/edit rights: place/break blocks, use redstone. Includes AccessTrust by nature.

👥 PermissionTrust

The ability to grant the same level of trust to others. Does not grant build rights by itself.

💡 Keywords: You can trust public (everyone) or use player names.

📖 Command Details

/AbandonClaim

Purpose: Deletes the claim you are currently standing in. Subclaims inside it are also removed.

Syntax: /abandonclaim

Examples:

  • You move bases and want to free up the land: stand inside the old claim and run /abandonclaim
⚠️ Notes & Caveats:
  • Returns claim blocks to your available pool
  • Cannot be undone - be absolutely sure!
  • If used in a subclaim, only that subclaim is removed

/Trust

Purpose: Grant build/edit permission in the current claim.

Syntax: /trust <player|public>

Examples:

  • /trust Alex — lets Alex place/break blocks
  • /trust public — lets everyone build (rarely recommended)
⚠️ Notes:
  • Build rights imply AccessTrust automatically
  • Does NOT imply ContainerTrust - use /containertrust if needed
  • Trust is per-claim - repeat for each claim

/AccessTrust

Purpose: Grant permission to use doors, buttons, levers, and beds in your claim.

Syntax: /accesstrust <player|public> or /at <player|public>

Examples:

  • /at Steve — lets Steve open doors and press buttons
  • /at public — allows everyone to interact with basic mechanisms

/ContainerTrust

Purpose: Grant permission to access containers (chests, furnaces) and interact with animals.

Syntax: /containertrust <player|public> or /ct <player|public>

Examples:

  • /ct John — lets John access your chests and use animals

💡 Note: ContainerTrust automatically includes AccessTrust.

/UnTrust

Purpose: Revoke all permissions for a specific player in the current claim.

Syntax: /untrust <player|public|all> or /ut <player|public|all>

Examples:

  • /untrust Alex — removes all of Alex's permissions
  • /untrust all — removes everyone's permissions

/TrustList

Purpose: Display all players who have permissions in your current claim.

Syntax: /trustlist

Use Cases: Regular audits to see who can access what in your claim.

/SubdivideClaims

Purpose: Switch your golden shovel to subdivision mode to create subclaims inside a parent claim.

Syntax: /subdivideclaims or /sc

How to Use:

  1. Stand inside your parent claim
  2. Run /subdivideclaims
  3. Right-click two corners with your shovel to define the subclaim

Use Cases: Apartment rooms, shared bases with private bedrooms, shop stalls

💡 Tip: Subclaims can inherit permissions from parent unless you restrict them with /restrictsubclaim

/RestrictSubclaim

Purpose: Prevent a subclaim from inheriting permissions from its parent claim.

Syntax: /restrictsubclaim or /rsc

Use Cases: Creating a private vault within a shared base.

/BasicClaims

Purpose: Switch your golden shovel back to normal claim mode.

Syntax: /basicclaims or /bc

/BuyClaimBlocks

Purpose: Purchase extra claim blocks using server currency.

Syntax: /buyclaimblocks [amount] or /buyclaim [amount]

Examples:

  • /buyclaimblocks 1000 — buy 1,000 blocks for a larger base

💰 Note: Price per block is server-defined. Omitting amount may buy as many as your balance allows.

/SellClaimBlocks

Purpose: Sell unused claim blocks back to the server for money.

Syntax: /sellclaimblocks [amount] or /sellclaim [amount]

Examples:

  • /sellclaimblocks 500 — sell 500 unused blocks

/ClaimsList

Purpose: View a list of all your claims and their locations.

Syntax: /claimslist

/GivePet

Purpose: Transfer ownership of a tamed animal to another player.

Syntax: /givepet <player>

How to Use:

  1. Stand near the pet you own (wolf, cat, horse, etc.)
  2. Run /givepet <player>

💡 Note: The recipient must be online and nearby.

/Trapped

Purpose: Escape when you can't leave a claim (enclosed or teleported into a sealed room).

Syntax: /trapped

How it Works: After a short warm-up, you are teleported to the nearest safe, unclaimed block.

⚠️ Limits:
  • Has a cooldown to prevent abuse
  • Usually unavailable while in combat or recently damaged

/UnlockDrops

Purpose: Allow other players to pick up items from your death location.

Syntax: /unlockdrops

Use Cases: When you want friends to retrieve your items after death.

/ClaimExplosions

Purpose: Toggle whether explosions (creepers, TNT) can damage blocks in your claim.

Syntax: /claimexplosions
⚠️ Note: Keep this disabled unless you specifically need it for farms or testing.

💡 Best Practices & Security Tips

Master these essential tips to maximize your land security and manage your claims efficiently. Follow these proven strategies to protect your builds and resources.

🔒

Trust Level Management

Use AccessTrust for visitors: Reserve ContainerTrust only for people you fully trust with storage, animals, and valuable resources.

/accesstrust PlayerName For general visitors
/containertrust TrustedFriend For trusted members only
🏠

Smart Subclaims

Use subclaims wisely: Separate communal areas from private vaults or personal rooms for better control and security.

  • Create public areas with AccessTrust
  • Keep personal vaults in private subclaims
  • Use subclaims for shared farms and storage
  • Separate building zones from storage areas
🔄

Regular Audits

Audit your permissions: After team changes or conflicts, run regular security checks to maintain control.

1. Check current permissions: /trustlist
2. Remove all trust: /untrust all
3. Re-grant deliberately: Add back only active, trusted players
💣

Explosion Protection

Keep explosions disabled: Unless you actively need them for mining or redstone, always keep claim explosions off.

/claimexplosions ✓ Recommended: OFF

⚠️ Enable only when necessary, then disable immediately after use!

🌟 Pro Tip: The Golden Rule of Land Protection

Always claim first, build later! Protect your land before investing time and resources. It's easier to prevent griefing than to recover from it.

1️⃣ Survey the area 2️⃣ Create your claim 3️⃣ Verify boundaries 4️⃣ Start building safely
